More stuff I'm working on...

I've been working on a ton of projects for friends. NOTE: I'm using pinterest to keep track of all the online patterns I like. Follow me on pinterest http://pinterest.com/plpinkinsa/pins/ I've taken pics of all the stuff I've sewn so far but I need to get off my butt and get them off my camera. Until then, its my crappy iphone pics. So I did turn Ivy's bustle dress into a skirt because I jacked it up beyond belief. My aunt said she wore a size 6 so I adjusted the pattern 2 sizes like I had read online. AND lets just say I could have probably fit in it. I didn't take any pics. My aunt did and I accidentally deleted it. OH WELL. Here is my other princess Alysia in her baptismal headband I made. Isn't she PUUUUURTY!
Ok then I ordered some Packers fabric to make Owen a blankey, which I haven't gotten to yet because I need to lay it down to trim and I'll probably have to go to my moms for that cuz no room at nans. I did make him some pants out of some left overs. http://www.made-by-rae.com/2010/10/free-raes-basic-newborn-pant-sewing-pattern/ I used another one of Rae's patterns. She is AWESOME!

A friend of mine is planning on cloth diapering her baby that is due in November and she's asked me to help her, since I can sew. I've been doing tons of research and most people say the best way to go is wool. She's bought some PUL covers. I tried a cover pattern and I messed it up so much! I didn't use PUL because it's not sold locally, but I asked for waterproof material and she showed me some stuff called baby dry. Not sure how well that is going to work. Since I gave up on that, I found a pattern to make some cute fleece or recycled wool pull ons. I went to 3 thrift/resale shops during lunch and NOTHING!! I'm going to try the resale shop at home and maybe get lucky?? If not, I might just break down and order some wool interlock. I for sure want to pick up some fleece and make a couple in each size. Now I'm on a mission for wool sweaters!!
